A swap is a trade. The mule does the walking.

You have one coin, say Bitcoin. You want another, say Monero. A swap trades one for the other, like changing euros into dollars before a trip.

Big exchanges make you open an account first, and that account ties every coin you buy to your name. It's how most crypto gets traced. Here, you just hand your coins to the mule. It carries them to the market, trades them, and brings back the coin you asked for.

Why a mule? For thousands of years, people have trusted mules to carry valuable things over hard roads. They're strong, they're steady, and they don't get lost. That's the job.

How the mule carries it. About 40 minutes, start to finish.

Four stops. You can watch the mule reach each one on your order page.

Example: 0.1 BTC into XMR, FastTotal: about 40 minutes
  1. You load the mule

    0:00

We give you an address made just for this trip. Send your coins there. It's the mule's saddlebag, and it's only yours.

  2. The network checks

    ~20 min

The blockchain, the public record every coin lives on, checks your coins are real. For Bitcoin that's two checks, called confirmations.

  3. The mule trades

    20 to 40 min

At the market, your coins become the coin you asked for, at that minute's price.

  4. The mule drops it off

    ~40 min

Your new coins land at your wallet address. That's it. Trip done.

Leave now, or on a day you choose.

Fast: the mule sets off right away. Most trips land within the hour, and the desk shows what lands before you send.

Stealth: the mule waits and delivers on the day you pick, from tomorrow up to 30 days away. Like a birthday card that arrives on the birthday. The mule looks after your coins the whole time, so a longer wait costs more: 2% to 6%, printed before you send.

One number to read. What lands in your wallet.

On Fast, the desk shows the coins you get, with everything already taken out, network costs too. You read one number, with every fee already out.

On Stealth, the mule carries your coins for days, so its fee gets its own line: 2% to 6%, depending on how far away the day is. You see it before you send, and nothing is taken later.

Reads the desk above. Change the amount or the coins and it reprints.

If something goes wrong, the mule walks it back.

When a trip comes back, you choose the address it goes to, right then. We never ask for one before you start.

  • Wrong coin

The mule can't carry it. Write to us with your Order ID and we'll send it back.

  • Too little

The mule waits. Add the rest, or take it back.

  • Too late

The price ran out, so nothing is forced on you. It comes back.

  • Trip blocked

It comes back. Nobody asks for your passport.

Every mule has a person looking after it.

Your trip gets its own page that shows each stop and the time. Most questions answer themselves there.

If one doesn't, paste your Order ID into the chat and a person picks it up. Not a robot, not a ticket number, not an email in three days.

Track an order

SilentMule deskusually replies in minutes
  1. Hi, order SM-4K7Q. I sent 0.1 BTC 15 minutes ago. Still waiting?
  2. Found it! Your coins have 1 of 2 Bitcoin checks. The next one usually comes within 10 minutes, then the mule sets off.
  3. Great, thanks!

Crypto words, said simply.

New to this? These eight words are all you need for your first swap.

Wallet noun
An app that holds your coins. You hold the keys, so only you can open it.
Address noun
A long code that works like your wallet's postbox. Coins sent to it land in your wallet.
Blockchain noun
A public notebook every coin is written in. Everyone can read it, nobody can rub anything out.
Confirmation noun
One check by the blockchain that your coins are real. Some coins need a few before they count.
Network noun
The road a coin travels on. USDT, for example, can go on the Tron road or the Ethereum road. Pick the one your wallet uses.
Swap noun
Trading one coin for another. Bitcoin in, Monero out, for example.
Fee noun
What a trip costs. On Fast you simply see what lands. On Stealth the fee gets its own line.
Order ID noun
Your trip's ticket. Keep it, and you can check on your mule any time.

Questions people ask before their first swap.

Want the long answer about IDs? Read why we run a no KYC crypto exchange.

Can I swap crypto without creating an account?

Yes. Pick two coins, paste the address where you want the new coins, and send. No account, no email, no password. You get an Order ID, like a ticket, and that's all you need.

Do you ask for ID?

No. Not before the swap and not after. If a trip can't happen, your coins come back to you. Nobody holds them and asks for papers.

How long does a swap take?

Most Fast trips land within the hour; the quickest take about 20 minutes. It depends on how fast each coin's blockchain checks payments. Bitcoin into Monero takes about 40 minutes. With Stealth, the coins land on the day you pick.

What does it cost?

On Fast, the desk shows what lands, with the network costs already out. On Stealth our fee is 2% to 6%, depending on how far away the day is, on its own line before you send. Nothing is taken later.

How much can I swap?

From $50 up to $29,999 per trip. Need more? Write to us.

What if I send the wrong coin or the wrong amount?

The wrong coin can't be swapped: write to us with your Order ID and we'll send it back. Too little, and the mule waits for you to add the rest or take it back. Too much, and the swap runs as planned and the extra comes back to you.

Is it safe to use an exchange without registration?

Your new coins only go to the address you paste, and you can watch every step on your order page. On your first trip, send a small amount, see it land, then send the rest.

Ready when you are.

Load the mule. It knows the way.
